TRIBE
firmwaregithub
TRIBE is a beta alternative firmware that turns the M-VAVE FM-1 into a ten-track groovebox, with any of its 25 engines assignable to any track. Its engines include dedicated kicks, 909- and 808-style drums, and a 303-style synth. Each track has 16 clips, with patterns of 16, 32, or 64 steps, adjustable rates and directions, and swing. Scatter effects can process a track or the whole mix, while two master effects receive individual track sends. Assignable master knobs, an arpeggiator, quantized recording, and a master compressor support performance. A browser emulator lets you play TRIBE without hardware. TRIBE is a fork of X0X, built on Felucca.
